Signing Combinations

The Signing Combinations API identifies individuals — individually or in combination — who are authorized to sign on behalf of a company. It strengthens due diligence, prevents fraud, and ensures secure, compliant business agreements. With this API, you can:

• Automatically validate who can legally sign for a company

Use case:

A financial institution onboarding a new B2B customer uses the Signing Combinations API to instantly validate the correct signing authorities, ensuring smooth contract processes without delays or manual risk checks.

The data point called “coverage” shows to what extent the signing combinations have been interpreted

“complete” means that there is information and we managed to interpret it. If the coverage is "complete" there will always be at least one signing role in the response.

“partial” means that although we have interpreted some of the information, there is also information available which we have not been able to interpret. This can occur if there are roles for which it is not known if they have signing rights or not.

“none” means that there is not enough information available to point out any signing combination.

Sole Traders: The person who is the holder of the sole trader will always be set as signing on his/her own. The coverage will be set to “complete” if we have found the name of the sole trader.
