Evaluate Financial Risk with Company Ratings API. The Company Ratings API provides a reliable assessment of a business’s financial strength, enabling informed decisions and reducing exposure to credit risk. With access to objective scoring and credit limit data, organisations can confidently evaluate new or existing business partners.

The rating model forecasts the probability of insolvency within 12 months, using a scale from 1–100 divided into five risk intervals:

• 80–100: Very low risk
• 60–79: Low risk
• 40–59: Medium risk
• 15–39: High risk
• 1–14: Very high risk

Credit Limit Insights The API also returns a recommended credit limit based on the company’s turnover and risk level:

• 80–100: Max 6% of turnover
• 60–79: Max 5%
• 40–59: Max 4%
• 15–39: Max 0.4%

Use case:

A B2B lender uses the Company Ratings API during customer onboarding to automatically assess a company’s financial risk and calculate a recommended credit limit—streamlining risk evaluations and enabling faster decision-making.

A copy of the Rating check is sent to the person that has been the subject of the check. This only applies to Individual companies so called Enskilda Firmor (EF).
