Nordic Politically Exposed Person (PEP)

The Nordic Politically Exposed Person API provides high-quality information on politically exposed persons (PEPs) and their relations, sourced from trusted Nordic registers. This data helps financial institutions comply with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations by detecting high-risk individuals, such as those exposed to bribery and corruption.

With this API, you can:

• Access PEP and RCA data from trusted Nordic sources
• Ensure compliance with AML regulations by identifying high-risk individuals
• Retrieve data easily via manual checks or automated API integration

For the search country code always needs to be present, the query parameter can be repeated in order to search for several country codes at the same time. The search needs to include either firstName and lastName or personal number. If these guidelines are not followed the API will present errors describing what is missing.

Personal number is only available when searching for Swedish PEP, when searching for PEP in any of the other nordic countries first and last name should be used. It is also advisable to use additional parameter birthDate for increased accuracy.
